great performance and UI...it's amazing
One of the most frustrating software's I have ever had to use.
GUI looks nice but that's pretty much all this program has to offer. Managing you media is a hassle and automatic sync options tend to just ruin your files or delete them completely.
Everyone who wants a proper audio player should just get Foobar2000.

Best application for managing multimedia files over the Microsoft Windows OS. I think this is so amazing, but iTunes is so smarter.

interface might look nice but to me its kind of hard to get around. Features are great but i wish there were more and performance is also great still needs work though.
Microsoft should have ditched Windows Media Player and made this the defacto player on Windows. Easy and fun to use, yet quite powerful. Couple it to a Zune HD or Windows Phone 7 device and the program shines.

Even if I didn't own a Zune player, I would still use this software because it's just leaps and bounds better than everything else available.
Zune is a lovely, easy to use media player that well complements a Zune/WP7 device. The podcast management is better than anything else I've found/used is probably the primary thing that compels me to stick with the platform. Windows should ditch media player and just package this with the OS.
