I've checked almost all of the git tools (not only guis, not only for mac) and currently this one is the best. I can see that the team works on this product and constantly improves it.
While having a solid basis in command line is need to truly master Git, Git Tower is my go to application for commits. I've just found that I break things in to smaller commits and leave more detailed notes when I get a great visual representation of them. Tower is easy to use and beautiful.
