Me encanta!
default in ubuntu, but vlc plays more formats
better than smplayer
best in linux
Best media player on Linux.
lite and powerfull :)
Simple, but with few resources
I got Movie Player on my Ubuntu Natty and it is fairly decent, but it is no KMPlayer on Windows with its zillion options. Haven't had any trouble, but I am also not thrilled to jump through the roof.
Simple
Good player. Not so good with subtitles though, sometimes they just disappear when you rewind or forward. It also closes some .mkv for no reason.
I like this player very much since it integrates very well with Gnome. It's much better than VLC!
Great player that suits every basic need of any videoplayer. Atleast until I switch to VLC.
This is basically Movie Player in my Ubuntu install. Pretty good media player when you install the restricted extras. It feels somewhat sharper than anything on Windows to me.
OK, but I would use VLC Media Player instead. It's better in every way.
Am amazing player. Only problem is that you have to download additional plug-ins to play all the formats. By default it support only open source formats. But GStreamer plug-ins are available for free download from debian repositories.
