Songbird 1.7 and Philips Songbird

* Expanded Device Support – including support for removable memory (SD) cards, the Google Nexus One, and improved support for the Motorola Droid. * The Return of Video Playback – Now built on GStreamer, and running on both Mac and Windows! Video codec support is a little limited in our general release at this point, but we’ll be working on it. * The Beginning of Photo Sync – In addition to audio and video, Songbird will now sync photos to your device. * Official Support for Windows 7 – It worked pretty well before, but now we’ve worked out the kinks and can stand behind it. * Various fixes to device sync, CD ripping, the UI and more!As of April 2, 2010 official Linux support has been dropped and Linux builds are only offered as nightlies and are not tested by developers.

Very bloated and slow, few features to make up for the bloat, felt old and abandoned.
Bring it back on Linux platform!
The best music player I have ever used, in all honesty. Just a shame that it got discontinued on Linux. siigh...
I really like SongBird as a music player and it does a really good job syncing my songs to my Android phone. But it's still a bid buggy and I don't really like the Android-app..
I really want this to be a success but although it's a lot better than it was, it still has issues. Pity because I wanted to stop using iTunes which I hate.
... una buena alternativa si no quieres utilizar iTunes
No more linux binaries, no more love songbird :(
Could use quite a bit of improvement, but it's still a great media player. I've started using it over iTunes.
My favorite audio player. It still needs a lot of work though. It does not feel very polished.
Nice idea - poor execution. Features are great, but performance is AWFUL. Haven't seen a slower app for a while.
pretty awesome
if you ignore the integrated browser this program is awesome
I am continuously switching between songbird and itunes, The concept of songbird is of course much better but it's not stable on the different platforms I use.
A really strong contender as an iTunes replacement. Highly recommended, however if you use a lot of apps I'd stick with iTunes.
Feature wise its packed full of easy to us features. The interface is skinnable and easy to navigate. It did crash quite often, and made some of my songs unplayable in iTunes.
If your looking for an iTunes replacement this is it.
çok iyi bir yazılım.
