If you can get past the fact that you have to access the program through your web browser, it is by far the best program for downloading from the Usenet.
Easy to use and nice development pace.
Tried this as a change to Grabit and AltBinz and am surprised at just how good SABnzbd+ really is. It's simple enough to configure and easy to use. The idea of it being entirely browser based threw me for a loop at first but the longer I use it, the more I am warming to it.
It's cold complicated-looking exterior could be deemed too daunting for a complete novice to use but I believe the learning curve is simple enough to figure out, just flick through the great documentation.
SABnzbd+ is fast becoming my favourite NZB utility.
Why did i never used it before, it is thefastes usenet downloader i know for now.
But the leck of interface and usabilty is a shame, why is there not an decent design for?
recently switched to SABnzb, I used grabit before, but this is better I think !
I came across this application just recently. It's a "very" nice tool for downloading from Usenet. The awesome part is that it's written in Python, and uses a "Local/Offline" Web Interface instead of a native-desktop application interface. It's fast, lightweight, free and highly recommended!

Sounds logical, your computer has to do something to extract everyting. You can set a priority for these tasks, that way the effect is less on your overall performance.

Very complete tool for binary usenet downloads. Has many options (such as watching for .nzb files and repairing and unpacking after download) and a good-enough interface for controlling everything.. Runs in your webbrowser, which can be a downside, but is nonetheless a great tool..

One little minus: extracting en repairing slow downs my pc for the moment.
