The 103rd most popular configurator on Mac OS X
… More EditThis little headless app is added to your login items, and tries to force all apps to have a consistent green button behaviour: maximize the window. Yes, like the Windows(tm) maximize button which is what everyone expects it to do. Some keyboard shortcuts are also available. Does not work in iTunes or certain Adobe apps.

Very simple tool to wich makes it able to make a program shown fullscreen by just holding alt and clicking the green + button in a Mac OSX program window.
The one thing I didn't like about macs - fixed.
YEAH! I don't care that Apple wants us to maximize windows in their own way, but when the content's position is related to the window's size and the window's size is related to the content's size, well... It just sucks. Just try to maximize the Finder to see more things or try to maximize your web browser to hope that the website will adapt to the new size... Well, it doesn't work. Hopefully, this software allows you to do what you want! I'm using it with the "Option" key: if you want to maximize Apple-style, just click on the "maximize" button, but if you want to maximize to 100% of the screen, just click on the same button, but with the "Option" key! GREAT.
Love it! Only thing Microsoft beats Apple now solved by freeware!
Finally. Maximize that is maximized.
