The only reason why I still use it is because quite incredibly I wasn't able to find any alternative...
Of all of the business/social networking tools, Plaxo has the best vision of how to help manage your contacts, but at the same time, they only provide those tools for a premium membership that offers no other value. Their networking tools and interfaces are less robust that LinkedIn and Facebook.

mais uma rede social, só que aparentemente com uma aparencia boa e intuitiva.
Last time I used it to sync with multiple points (Outlook, Windows Live, Yahoo) it messed up and create too much duplicates or reverting contact information I edited manually.
Several features that seems notmal to be free on other sites are placed as premium, for example the duplicate cleaner and mobile phone synchronizer (well, maybe this can be justified to be premium).
Last point is like any other service, difficulties in successfully inviting friends to maintain their contact there. Glad some peoples have their friends using it.

I like using plaxo because all of my contacts are there and it's very simple to send an ecard.
Was advertised more than Facebook...even had one year paid subscription-most of the months....it simply went down:-(

Commenting on Free Plaxo - I can understand that Plaxo has to make some $$ somehow that's why the feature rating is low for me.
Firstly I would like to say that I have been using Plaxo for ~5 years and it has saved me so many times. I have used it with the outlook plugin and now have settled to using it with Plaxo for Mac v3.12.2 and it has been working great. I will soon have to break down and make the buy to get rid of duplicates and take advantage of the backup utility. I use it with over 1200+ contacts currently.
Features - I could use more features on the free version but I understand they had to draw the line somewhere. Syncs well with MacMail/iCalendar/& Mac Address Book. Had not seen any problems thus far.
Performance - runs silently in the background on my MacBook
Interface - On the Plaxo for Mac the interface is simple and gets the job done like you want it to.
Price / Value - well for free this is a must have essential tool for anyone that rely's on their contacts. I have been through many computers and phones and have not really sweated it due to knowing that I can rely on Plaxo for having my contacts in "the cloud".
