Pixelmator

Simple, intuitive and cheap. Photoshop is still the daddy, but at this price it's hard to argue.

I'm finding Pixelmator to be a pretty serviceable alternative to Photoshop on my 13" MacBook Air. The right amount of features at the right price.

Great image editor for a great price.

stronger better faster for home users

Non professional dabblers do not require illustrator/photoshop. Whilst this is not as fully featured, the missing features are generally speaking a complete mystery to me - so really this is pitched at just the right level.

And don't think it isn't powerful because I say it has reduced features.

I love this software, for those of you who cannot afford Adobe Photoshop this is a great alternative. I has all the same basic functions the Photoshop does but it's super cheap, plus I think it's got better filters/effects if your into that stuff.

this is a fantastic photo editor and image creator for mac os x. it is a fabulous alternative to photoshop, and anyone who cannot afford the buy photoshop. at $60, it is a must buy for any amateur photographer, or digital artist.

The most amazing image editing softwareive seen on mac and it blends perfectly into the mac UI ! 5 Stars for the best out there hip hip horray !

Love Pixelmator. A most admirable replacement for PhotoShop...much cheaper and I think it works just as good if not better.

Good competitor to Photoshop. Does not have as many features as Photoshop but the price is significantly less. Takes awhile to get accustomed to the interface and trying to find things but worth it in the long run to save $$$
