Very good performance for a Windows virtualizer, but not great compared to running Windows natively (as with Bootcamp). It even runs a lot of 3D games and Aero on Windows Vista and Windows 7.

I have to use windows at work, and parallels 7 works flawlessly :)
Love Parallels 7. Love that it will install OS X from your boot partition and has an automatic download for Chrome OS. Speed is great for a virtualized environment. I did find that I needed more than 4GB of RAM to run without lag.
