MacSpeech is a great solution for mac users who do a lot of typing and want to minimize fatigue and cts.
The problem with the previous version was that you couldn't add/edit new words... so anything which wasn't in the dictionary couldn't be added. With the new version you get a word editor, so I'm going to be trying it out again soon.
I keep coming back to Mac speech dictate. Over the last two years MacSpeech seems to have improved this software enormously. It does take a bit of a learning curve, for you to get used to the software and of course, for the software to get use to you.
I am using MacSpeech dictate to dictate this review. The last update has made a big difference in how well this software recognizes your voice.
I haven't yet got all the commands together that this software features. You can do most everything with your voice, dictate, spelling, and finder commands. I just need to pay attention to using it more.
If you get fed up with typing all the time, it's worth downloading. The only drawback is I don't think the company gives a trial version for you to try before you buy
