The 2nd most popular editor on Linux
… More EditLinux MultiMedia Studio, or LMMS, is a free (licensed under GPL), Linux-based alternative to popular programs such as FL Studio, Cubase and Logic Pro. Music can be produced by creating/synthesizing sounds, arranging samples, and playing live with a MIDI keyboard.
LMMS provides software synths and other plugins, presets for them and some essential samples. It combines the features of a tracker/sequencer program and those of powerful synthesizers and samplers. In addition, almost all controls including instrument can be automated in the same way that modern mixing desks can automate fader movements. Integration with the LADSPA effects system provides a large quantity of high-quality sound processing. LMMS transparently also supports VST plugins, both instruments and effects, through Wine.

I like it but I wish when hearing my files before I add a sample that I could just click up and down instead of having to click each sound .wav file to hear what it sounds like.Other than that it's all about linux:D
A very good program to make music. Someone made a Sonic the Werehog remix of Red Zone once.
Not bad! Not great, but it's darn good for what it is!
Had a few mid-edit crashes that really ruined my evening. I'm sure it'll be worked out soon. I'll probably submit a bug report as soon as I hammer down the cause.
Either way, great software! I use it all the time!
I love't
Ohhhh ok.
