En mi MacBook Pro he probado muchos lanzadores de aplicaciones/comandos/directorios/documentos. Sin dura, para mi LaunchBar es el mejor de todos ellos. Es potente, discreto, configurable e intuitivo. Muy recomendable.

Launchbar is what spotlight should have been. I started using it when QuickSilver stopped active development (before it was really worked on again) and haven't looked back. Forget navigating through lots of folders to get to a location, Launchbar can do it and open finder (or pathfinder) in the right spot. Stop moving your hands off the keyboard and increase your efficiency.

This is what the spotlight feature in Mac OSX "should" be. It is a simple key actuated launch tool that can be used for just about anything. One of the coolest features is the "learning". As you use a specific app more and more that starts with specific letters, the app learns and moves that up the list of options so you can get to it faster.

Great productivity application on the mac. It has helped me streamline most of my daily chores. Though, it is not without shortcoming, no customization options like quicksilver. I have got so accustomed with launchbar, I keep double tapping cmd on my windoz and unix machines :)

While I'm sure LaunchBar is valuable to a lot of people, it doesn't seem to offer the user-experience I expect while on a Mac. On my work PC, running 2000, I would love to have something like this, fast, dry, sterile, to avoid taking my hands from the keyboard, but it just doesn't seem to fit in with the style, atmosphere and workflow on my Macs.

    I'll give it another go.

One of the, if not the best productivity application available on OSX. I really would be lost without Launchbar. Frequently when using other peoples machines, I am stabbing at the keyboard shortcut and wondering how anybody could possibly do without it!

This utility acts as a keyboard-launcher, search tool and contact finder. This has reduced my reliance on the mouse markedly, and my palm and wrist are grateful.

I barely ever use the doc since I installed Launchbar, love the scripting capabilities of it as well!

I tried quicksilver, but in my opinion it doesn't compare to LaunchBar

It's also indispensable to quickly retrieve some contact information from the Address Book!

LaunchBar is extremely usefull for those type of users that like to use the keyboard instead of the mouse. It's an App for the Mac that I install, right after the installation of my OS. It really increases my productivity.
