… More EditKilling Floor is a cooperative online multiplayer shooter which pits a team of up to 6 players against an invading zombie horde. Players can use a variety of weapons ranging from simple knives and 9mm pistols to shotguns, chainsaws, flamethrowers, and rocket launchers. The game also features a perk system which gives players persistent bonuses based on in-game accomplishments. Killing Floor was built using the Unreal Engine 2.5 and was released through Steam on 14 May 2009.

Killing floor is a game where you kill zombies, which then fall onto the floor. Unless you blow them up with explosives, of course. Its appeal lies in a simple fact of human nature, we love killing things, and we love killing things that love killing us. Its survival, British survival. Between spending doshes and getting murdered by fleshpounds, you'll find a lovely gaming experience with your best buddies. It does get a bit buggy though.
great team-based zombie shooter, many hours of fun with this one.

Also haven't played this for a long-long time, though it keeps showing up in my top ten. Maybe it's getting mixed up with Minecraft too?
A fun game, but you'll definitely need to use teamwork if you raise the difficulty level (which is part of what makes the game so fun).
Much better than L4D for team work, but also allows some solo play. Has a nice leveling system too, for the classes you can play with.
Pretty superb FPS. Great value for money too. Up to 6 people can play together to fight off some pretty interesting creatures, each with their own unique attacks and strategies to dispatch them.
Lots of guns compliment a perk system which rewards players with buffs that enhance the players style of game play. Heavy hitting close combat expert with a Katana or assault specialist with a super powerful SCAR assault rifle.
Awesome game and i can even run this thing on my netbook!
It's showing in my weekly top when I haven't played the game for months. I think Team Fortress 2 should be in its place in my top.

Very good all round zombie game. Price is excellent. Uses the slightly outdated unreal engine so ingame graphics aren't amazing, but it's worth it for the killin'.
