Mac OS X automatically adds your .Mac account information to your Keychain. When you log in to Mac OS X, the system opens your Keychain. You don’t have to enter your user name and passwords to access this data. You can set Mac OS X to lock your Keychain when the system sleeps or is inactive for a time. The system will ask you for your password the next time you try to access secure data. Other users on the system cannot access your Keychain or its data.

Good way to keep track of passwords etc. However please ensure your OS X user account has a secure password as if it doesn't all this information is available to anyone that knows how to use the keychain application.

Very naggy, similar to a wife. But keeps your computer safe from people that just hop on it.

Does what it's supposed to, doesn't monopolize your computer like Windows Vista's UAC. Though the concept is really borrowed from Linux, it's a job well done when it comes to making sure that only authorized folks can mess up...erm...do important stuff to your computer.
