Couldn’t get by without it day-to-day, it makes testing across IE6, IE7 and IE8 so much easier than it would be.

not the most stable in the world, but it does what it promises to do and is together with the IE debug toolbar the only tool that gives you somewhat of a debugging experience for IE6

This is definetly a must-have for Web Developers wishing to test their sites on an Internet Explorer environment. The interface is similiar to that of Microsoft Office and is really simple to use. The download and installation process was rapid and the simulation is excellent. At times the program may lag, as well as that, the JavaScript would stop working, however this is nothing serious and may be solved by the team upon a few testing.

IETester is remarkably useful for testing websites during the development process. Some of the earlier reviews mentioned that it doesn't support JavaScript, which isn't true. I've successfully tested JQuery plugins in IETester. While this program is useful, it is a little buggy. Occasionally JavaScript will stop working and will require a restart of the program to get it running again.

Good for quickly checking how your CSS is rendering, doesnt do Javascript so things like IE6-transparent-png-bug fixes in IE6 can't be viewed.

I wouldn't trust it 100%, but I've not found any errors so far.

Really useful for testing websites for the messed up IE6 browser. It seems to crash a lot though on my computer (vista lol).

Most reliable shell that includes browser Internet Explorer 5 to 8. With it's latest addition of multi-process way better and faster.

    Test BAD IE.
But 4.0.1 still often an error in IE7, 8.
And not setup IE8, IETester IE8 is still not be used.
