Why? Linux recognized my printer instantly. The driver installer on cd-rom should not be necessary.
HP has his own way for making installers. Mostly slow. The interface, questions and information do you feel like your a stupid user who doesn't understand anything about computers/printers.
Why does HP insist on thinking that just because you want to use a new printer, you also want a gazillion new photo utilities on your machine? Why can't this be optional? Hrmph...
I hate this installer. Slowly slowly will it install a lot of needless crap on your machine.
