With version 2.8 the developers of Gimp have created a near perfect product. There are a ton of useful and innovative features in the newest version. I strongly encourage users to upgrade to version 2.8.
Best opensource multiplatform image editor.
But still missing native GUI on OS X…
much better than paying for Photoshop
sei lá o que isso faz
Very useful free alternative to Photoshop, does everything I need.
me gusta.
If you can "unlearn" Photoshop and get used to Gimp from the ground up, that can be a good, powerful and Free alternative to Ps.
A great free substitute for Adobe Photoshop. GIMP is so very useful. Like it.
GIMP RULES!

Even better than Photoshop.

Really powerful and great features. But I totally hate the separate windows. I have to run Gimp on it's own virtual desktop just so I can keep better track of all the windows open.
Great free open source image editor.
it is similar to Adobe Photoshop for Mac useres
i like it
Once you learn a bit about how to use it (there are millions of tutorials) it's a really powerfull tool
