The 13th most popular anti-virus tool on Windows
… More EditSymantec Endpoint Protection is an antivirus solution from Symantec specifically aimed at corporate environments. Unlike earlier versions of Symantec's corporate antivirus, previously named Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition, Endpoint Protection includes extra security modules such as antispyware, proactive threat protection, and a firewall, with a more attractive interface that nearer resembles its home product, Norton Antivirus. However, Endpoint Protection and Norton Antivirus are two completely separate and different products and are not to be confused as the same.

Still using ver.10 for reasons.
Muito bom.
Nice.
One component of our required corporate software stack. And another consumer of system resources to slow down our older workstations.
Great piece of software. Had to install the server version and make it automaticly deploy to the clients... Worked great
Way too bloated, and it slows down pc's extremely! Too heavy...
Popular one! Been using it for years...
Symantec Endpoint Protection is best
Would of been perfect, but I got the BSOD from a .sys driver from it. I use Nod32 now.
overpriced in my opinion
use AVG, norton is too bloated, intrusive and too expensive,
Far, far better than that awful dumbed down trash known as Norton.
Huge and Fat Corp. AV with an huger and fatter management service. Hard to impossible to configure... But, here, its free^^ Still recommend eset
Endpoint Protection offers effective protection against viruses and spyware without bothering the user with unnecessary popups or toolbars. It has detailed scheduling and administrative options as well as near-daily updates of its virus database. Its small memory footprint also ensures that it runs quickly without hogging system resources. However, it is generally unavailable to individual consumers as it requires a corporate site license. If this software package is available through your company or school, you should definitely take advantage of it.
Kind of sad that it's the 5th most popular antivirus, it's so horrible.
