I've been using CuteFTP Professional for many, many years now. It gets the job done, is simple/fast to use, and the price is very reasonable.

Perhaps it's the type of user I am; I dig in. But CuteFTP does have some bugs and glitches that haven't quite been worked out in the connection and interface. However, this is my favorite FTP program. I use it the absolute most to manage my many remote files.
One great thing about CuteFTP, is that you can resume files. The files will stay in queue, even after you have disconnected, closed and re-opened the program.
Good for really large files.
Besides the fact that falls short from perfect, there is much about CuteFTP that I just can't stay away from, compared with the rest.

Best FTP client
Without a doubt my favorite FTP Client I've ever had the pleasure of using. CuteFTP is a very strong contender for the most "Compatible" FTP Client I've probably ever used since it does it's utmost to connect to an FTP Server and often times succeeds where other FTP clients will not connect. (Passive Connection - Firewall Problems are always a pain, but CuteFTP usually can get around that.) I use it frequently on my own Home Server to transfer large amounts of music files and Office documents to and from work as well as other computers in my home. It even goes places that Filezilla wishes it could.
