Civilization II is a turn-based stategy game, designed by Brian Reynolds, Douglas Caspian-Kaufman and Jeff Briggs as a sequel to Sid Meier's Civilization, where players take turns creating, researching, exploring and, eventually, battling for supremacy.

I love this game. The first time I played I was hooked two days in a row...without sleep. Yeah, was many years ago (wow 15 years at least!)
another fantastic game in the civ series. Added some real good improvements to the game, as well as plenty of new concepts that would stick around for the later versions of civ
