Infinitely useful editor
On a Mac, this is my choice for coding.
The Swiss Army knife of text editors. Worth the price just for the global searching abilities.
Classic Text-Editing App. With good support for several syntaxes. However, there are times when you want the UI to be prettier and more intuitive. Currently, there's this feeling of 'feature creep'

Been using this since version 3. The keyboard shortcuts are tattooed on my brain so it is very difficult to pick up TextMate, Espresso, Coda, or others.
Probably the best tool for hand-coding for the web on the Mac. Minimal interface but powerful auto-complete features for coders.
