The 14th most popular backup tool on Mac OS X

Backblaze backs up everything on your computer except your operating system, applications, temporary files, or those over 4GB. Backblaze backs up Windows XP and newer, and Intel-based Mac OSX 10.4 and newer. Backblaze has developed a unique FSCAN Engine that ensures no slowdown of your computer; how fast you can backup is limited only by your Internet connection. Typical home connections can backup online 2 - 4 GB per day. Backblaze provides a throttle option if you want to use more or less of your Internet connection.

Great service in price/value. Probably the best along with CrashPlan. The backup is seamless and doesn't slow down my computer. Tech support rocks. The only thing I don't like is that I would like to set what I want and not want to backup better, but the philosophy here is to backup everything.

I'm just started using this to back up my data to the cloud, although I also back up to my external hard-drive. The only limitation is my slow upload speed requiring forever to send my data to the Backblaze servers.

It's still running my initial backup after three months but I've got a few hundred gig that I'm sending it. At just $5 a month, it's the best of the backup buys out there.

Excellent little offsite backup program for $5/month. Unlimited storage but data backed up must be on the client machine- so mapped and USB drives are not recognized by this client (only an issue if you have your home directory/photos/music mapped to another system).

Backblaze runs quietly in the background and backs up all my docs. Retrieving files is very easy and at $5/mo for my entire computer it is a great deal.

I have recommended Backblaze to many people.

    FAST upload.

For me it uploaded about 5x faster than mozy or carbonite. I actually demanded a refund from carbonite after realizing how slow they really are. The app is quick and lightweight.
I tested elephantdrive, mozy, backblaze, and carbonite and I feel backblaze is the best by far for anyone with a large amount of data needing to be backed up.

"Backup your computer online, before you wish you had"

The UI and speed is much better than Mozy Home at the same price. Unlimited @ $5 per month.
