… More EditAlcohol 120% is an optical disc authoring program and disk image emulator created by Alcohol Soft. Alcohol 120% can create disk images, either in its proprietary Media Descriptor Image file format, or in a number of other popular formats (see below).
Alcohol 120% can emulate up to 31 virtual drives to mount disk images, making it unnecessary to have a physical copy of the disc. Virtual drives can operate at over 200 times the speed of the conventional CD-ROM drive.
Alcohol 120% can also "burn" image files to recordable CD or DVD media. It supports simultaneous writing to multiple CD/DVD writers. Unlike many optical disc authoring programs in which you can add files or tracks to a project to burn, Alcohol 120% only burns image files that are either recorded from a CD or DVD, or acquired elsewhere.

Good but i can't found a key for all time
I found Alcohol 52% great for copying my PS1 games to play on my PSP.

I hate hate HATE the virtual disc emulation on this. It isn't a scratch on how well integrated PowerISO is. It is good for making 1:1 copies of discs though.
Good piece of software. In the past this was always on my system because I found this to be one of the best programs to make 1 to 1 copies of discs and it came with an excellent virtual disc application. I rarely burn or copy optical media now and prefer Virtual CloneDrive from Slysoft for my virtual disc needs as seems to be a very clean and straight forward virtual disc app.

Po dokładnym przeanalizowaniu aplikacji Alcohol 120% można powiedzieć, iż jest to oprogramowanie bardzo łatwe w użytkowaniu nawet dla początkujących.
Należy jednak się zastanowić czy łatwość obsługi jest priorytetem, może istnieją inne lepsze programy do tworzenia kopii zabezpieczonych płyt z aplikacjami na CD/DVD?
Konkurencyjnym programem dla Alcohol 120% jest CloneCD. Ten drugi posiada zbliżone opcje i istnieje dłużej na rynku.
CloneCD ma przewagę w technice zapisu SafeDisc 2/3/4. Jest kompatybilny z większą ilością nagrywarek jeżeli chodzi o to szczególne zabezpieczenie ale nic poza tym.
W takim razie co takiego ma Alcohol czego nie ma jego konkurent. Jest to możliwość odczytu DPM. W dzisiejszych czasach opcja ta jest bardzo ważna. Pomiar Pozycji Danych jest niezbędny przy większości zabezpieczeń dostępnych na rynku.
Warto dodać, że najnowsza wersja 1.9.5 (b3823) datowana na 2006-02-26 przyniosła kilka usprawnień np. silnika zapisu/odczytu. Całkowitą nowinką jest kompatybilność z 64-bitowymi systemami operacyjnymi.
Choć program jest na bardzo wysokim poziomie aż prosi się o częstsze aktualizacje i jeszcze nowsze technologie do walki z zabezpieczeniami, bo jak wiemy twórcy zabezpieczeń nie śpią i często demonstrują nowe wersje ochrony danych przed kopiowaniem.
